On tap at the Eccentric Cafe 1/29/09. From the tap board at the cafe, "Strong Apricot Ale 9.6%." Full nose of Apricots, with a very sweet/syrupy flavor with notes of Apricot, light fruit and some caramel malts. Finishes with a slight sour note that reminds me maybe of orange rind. Very good beer.

On tap at Eccentric Café. Apricot with a thin beige head. Aroma of apricot and sweet malt with a note of alcohol. Taste is mostly of apricots- fresh ones – not the candied type you sometimes fins in these beers. Alcohol and light hops are also noticeable and the apricot finish lingers a bit. Mild warming effects.
