Light spicy floral aroma. Taste is sort of bitter with a floral essence. Not at all what I expected. Maybe my bottle was bad but disappointing.

Pailhead (5381) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - APR 12, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate honey, apple, and faint white wine. Its a dull white-gold with no head but some rising bubbles. The flavor starts with a which dose of honey and light apple. The finish has some white wine and champagne notes. Its medium bodied with lightly spritzy carbonation. Overall, light bodied and more carbonation than Im used to it a Mead...still pretty tasty.

Faint honey notes on the nose. Pale yellow with minimal head. Sweet honey with hidden notes of some citrus. Some alcohol burn on the finish and faint bitterness to somewhat balance. First mead experience....o.k.

Draft pour at the source. Pours a clear yellow with a fizzy white head of foam that actually sticks around. The arom has sweet honey and some tea notes. The taste is fairly sweet, but not cloying. Slick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

It baffles me that this isn't rated higher. This is the single greatest drink I've ever had. Puts a smile in my face every time. Drinks easy with great after taste.

Nice dessert beer. Light oak and honey flavor. Would go great with an apple pie. No need to have more than a couple ounce pour though.
