COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing, blond colored pale ale. Bell’s pale ale is made almost exclusively from pale malt. It expresses a spicy floral hop aroma and taste.

Bells fan but this is average. Pours golden brown. Floral aroma with no real hops taste that you would expect from a Pale Ale. Bland ----Hophaze out

Pours hazy amber in color with a brief head. The aroma is mild. An understated hint of malt and not much else. The flavor is better. Grainy, fairly rich malt with a little hop punch at the swallow and some bitter finish. Not a great beer, but a pretty good one.

Pours a dark hazy gold with nice two-finger off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves behind a lot of sticky lace. Aroma is of pale malt with a little citrus. Not very interesting in the nose department. The flavor is good. light sweetness, medium bitterness, a bit biscuity. Definitely good but no real wow factor. This beer has a light body though is a bit creamy and sticky. It has lively carbonation and a long dry finish. All in all this is not one of Bell’s best. However, even the worst beer from one of the best breweries in the world is still worth a try. Not an outstanding pale ale but still a decent beer.

Bottle thanks to Sarah. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a really musty grain and biscuit note with just a bit of grassy hoppiness. Flavor is similar with musty grains and biscuits with just a touch of grassy hops and wet wood.

Bottle pour from a build your own 6 pack. A bit lackluster due to weak hops.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a half finger of white head. Aroma of malts up front with a nice floral hop balance. Taste mimics the nose, with a nice mild bitterness.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. Poured a hazy golden, with a white frothy head. A tasty, well hoped pale ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If this were classified as a pale lager, (brewing methodology not withstanding) it would be decent, but as an APA, it is a lackluster. Pours a hazy gold, with a light frothy head. Slightly citrus nose with a more yeast/bread note. Refreshing on the tongue, with a spicy, hop finish. There are days, especially a hot summer day, when I just want a cold, refreshing beer "without having to think about" as my friend Don likes to say. Fits that category pretty well

A decent beer. Definitely a spicy finish. Could drink a few, not the best pale ale, but worth a try.

Pours hazy golden with minimal head, light citrus, bread aroma that follows through in taste with a light spicy character. Very common, uninspiring

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malty base, a hint of sweetness, and lighter flowery hoppy notes. Not bad.
