3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not a great pale ale. Aroma is mediocre. Light transparent color. Generic choppy flavor. Twohearted kicks this beers butt.

Bottle. Clear golden amber pour, with an off white head. Biscuity, some citrus, straw, and a bit of lemon. Not bad.

Not bells' best - good but although pretty flavorful, was not the ale I was looking for in terms of hops

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very clean taste. Hop aroma is fairly weak. Lots of carbonation. It’s smooth but doesnt have the full body ipa flavor. If you like a ipa buy a two hearted instead.

Clear golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework.
Nose is pale malt, straw, light citrics, bitter orange.

Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok APA, lacks hoppy punch for my liking.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and crisp. Light dry malts. Slightly sourish wheat. Dry floralness and just a touch of citrus. Finishes dry. Too dry and borderline dull.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served on cask at Al’s of Hampden into a nonic pint.
A - Pours slightly hazed pale yellow with a nice pillow of one finger tall white head leaving thin sheets of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of chewy day old bread crumbs, buiscuity malt, very faded citric fruit, and very faint grassy hop bite. This one seems to be a bit old.
T - Starts off with a big dose of chewy malt slowly giving way to just the faintest hint of citric fruit and grassy hops. Some caramel sweetness creeps in as it comes to room temperature. All the flavors I was hoping for seem to have faded away. The finish is a mix of chewy malt and caramel sweetness, lingering for some time.
M - Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Chewy feel with only the faintest hint of hop bitterness, both in the feel and the finish.
O - Not too fresh to say the least. The hops were all but non existent and the bready malt took on a life of its own as a result. I will have to give this one another try in the future.
