A refreshing, blond colored pale ale. Bell’s pale ale is made almost exclusively from pale malt. It expresses a spicy floral hop aroma and taste.

Aroma is a mixture of sweet citrus, flowers and bread. Medium white frothy head. Beautiful hazy golden color. I would not be surprised at all if there was a little wheat in here to smooth out the texture. Mouthfeel is a little too smooth for the style, but it is wonderful on the palate. Tastes like a sharpened Oberon. Moderate carbonation. Very, very dry taste. Healthy bitterness. Smooth with gentle spiciness. Excellent hoppy finish. This might be my new favorite summer beer. Clean and refreshing, good, above-average PA. An excellent beer.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy yellow. A bit fruity with some a subtle bitterness. Reasonable but nothing out of the ordinary.

Bottle shared thanks to richthevillan. Golden beer with small head. Aroma of malts and some fruit. Taste pale malts, citrus and fruity hops. Ok.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has malts and straw, taste has a hint of citrus, dirty malts, straw a bit basic.

12 oz bottle: Straw blonde color. Grainy, hay, sweet corn aroma. On the palate it reminds me of a pilsner or a crisper Kölsch with an unexpectedly robust hop bitterness. Some nice ester-y complexity in the finish. Not your typical pale ale - a nice summer brewski.

Flaska från Mikkellers webshop. Riktigt fin maltkropp, stor för stilen, mjuk, krämig som passar bar med den lite gräsiga och örtiga humlen med en lätt blommig touch. TRevlig.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Muted sweet malt initially. Richer bitterness than expected. Pilsner like bitterness on the finish...peppery. Lingers a bit.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Clear amber - white head. Ok hoppy. Rather high bitterness. Spicy. Earthy. Mouldy. Gunpoweder. Cocoa. Toasted. Knækbrød. A bit wierd....
