3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2013 Cloudy and murky straw-yellow color with a wispy white and fading head. Light aroma, like many Berliners, with mild lemon tartness, apple skins, heavy grains, and a "dirty", damp mustiness that cascades over everything. Crisp and refreshing flavor with mild tartness; apple skins, white grapes, lemon zest. More wet hay flavors and musky yeast in the finish with a nice grain profile. Thin and wet with ample carbonation. Not the best example of a Berliner out there, but this is a pleasure to drink on hot summer days, about six at a time.

Pale straw in color white head quickly lost.
Sour funky aroma of I don’t know what. Some hoppiness maybe a hint of lemon.
Crisp and sour some off flavors.
Not to impressed with this beer or style.
In my opinion not a very good product from the people at Bell’s. Maybe they don’t like this style either.

The taste is crisp with cereal (Cheerios), lemon, slight coriander, and a slight funk. Very refreshing, clean, crisp. Light body, moderate carbonation. Great on a hot day.
