3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw color, with very little head. Not much going on in the nose - a bit of grain, and some tart yeast notes. The flavor leads with a tang (yeast, and a bit of citrus), and gives rise to some breadiness. Has almost a sourdough character to it - tart, and oddly refreshing. Pretty good for a lawnmower-type beer. Nice astringency on the palate, making it quite drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear yellow color, small white head. Aroma of citru, wheat and light tartness. Taste of citrus, grapes, light tartness but mostly sweet, light hoppiness. Yeah, this one is too light for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Flaska från Mikkellers webshop. Smak och doft av vete, jäst, citron. Frisk, mjuk och len, viss syrlighet och sötma, aningen ciderkaraktär, anonym men god.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a straw yellow color with white head. Wheat, spice, citrus, and some bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a surprising tart note, refreshing but unexpected with this style of beer.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz can. Pours a cloudy straw colored yellow. Thin white head. Taste slightly tart with apple or pear undertones. Nothing special. Could be nice and refreshing on a hot day, but there are probably better options.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle to glass mug. Pours a crisp yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Once again, Westy’s strikes with a 2yr old case of a 4% beer. Anyway, all I got out of this one was really, really tart sour flavor and lightness. Maybe I would revisit, but I’m not a huge Weisse fan.
