on draft first edition for 2011 spring/summer...pretty much taste like it always does. light spicey wheat texture. pale orange with white head. decent lacing on the glass. easily drinkable and great for the heat of summer. i was playing with the glass and dabbed a bit of the lemon slice that i had on my plate and gave it a little different citric feel and taste.

Pale orange with frothy white head. Lots of sediment. Decent lacing. Aroma is tart wheat with hints of sweetness. Flavor is light and refreshing but with a hint of imperfection in the balance. Overall, a good, refreshing wheat beer.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a nice thick white head. Good lacing. Bready yeast aroma. Spicy citrus flavor followed by a sweetness that is very well balanced, the sweetness lingers for a bit. Nice bite from the carbonation.

Beast: I really think this beer has gone down hill over the years.. a few minutes have gone by after pouring the beer and there is still a lot of carbonation.. A lot lighter than usual.. almost no head and the spice and fruit flavors are very faint.. Beauty: Ive never like oberon. its light and kinda bland

A great wheat beer that pours a pale yellow hue. It shines with notes of spice (cloves) and citrus hints from start to finish.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2011 Bottle found in Puerto Rico, could be very old. Very mellow flavor, citrus notes, cardboardy, and a good wheat background. I’m guess its a little past its prime, good citrus flavors though. Would like to rerate fresher.

This pour a cloudy gold with a white head. It smells citrus and hops. It taste orangey, hoppy in the bottle, light coriander and a tad bitter at the end. This is summer sessional, but a decent one at that.

On tap at Proof, pours a golden yellow, light lacing. Slightly citrus aroma, easy drinking. I guess it ain’t bad for a Wheat ale.
