COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

It’s good the first couple times you have it because the spice with the citrus throws you off and then you drink one a year at someones house cause they think it’s the best beer in the world. It’s good, but again with the Bells beers getting too much praise.

Poured into a weizen glass. 4.0 A: Hazy golden yellow color. Big frothy white head with good retention and moderate lacing. 3.5 S: Aroma is just chock full of wheat and mainly just wheat. No spiciness of any sorts and just a touch of herbal hops. 3.0 T: Overall, this is pretty bland. Neutral wheat flavor. Not really any hops. I’ll admit that the subtleties come through after the second or third beer, but that’s not good enough for me. 3.5 M: Medium body. Good carbonation. Not bad. 3.5 D: This is incredibly smooth and not bad, but it is a little boring. Still, I wouldn’t mind having a few every once in a while. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-26-2009 03:27:51

Golden in color. Medium maltiness on the flavor, but nothing particularly strikes me in this beer.

Pours cloudy blonde with a fine head/lace. More reminiscent of a bitter lager than an IPA $1.79/12oz

Bottle. Aromas of orange peel, wheat, light spice. More citrus on the palate. Light bodied and fairly bland, but very refreshing.
