COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

2010 version, mini keg. Pours a golden to verly light amber. Frothy head that was maintained. Citrus and fruity to the taste with floral aroma. Very nicely balanced with hops. A great summer brew and session beer.

Not generally my style, but trying to branch out. Glad I did with this one. Bell’s scores again... Beautiful yellow pour. Heavy carb and small white head that gently laces. Lots of suspended, cloudy goodness. Aroma is not very strong... a bit of citrus and malt. Taste is balanced citrus, fruit, sweetness and wheat. Very fizzy and very drinkable. Again, not a wheat beer person, but this is the 2nd one that’s made my must-drink list (Gumballhead is the other)...

Came across this at keiths wedding. Drank out of a bottle so tough to get a great rating. From what I could tell this beer is a fantastic wheat beer. Dang!

Aroma: has a nice balance of clean fruity wheat and mellow noble hops. no grassyness. no spice aromas. Appearance: Clear with some suspended yeast. Not sure what style they are going for but definitely not the classic Belgian or German style. But gorgeous pale golden color. White head the doesn’t stick around long Taste: A nice blend of wheat fruitiness and hop flavor. has some non lasting bitterness that makes it finish dry and crisp. extremely drinkable. Palate: Smooth and a pleasant non lasting buzz from carbonation and bitterness. Wonderful summer session beer.

Cloudy pineapple orange-yellow. Aroma of orange peel and lemon. Taste of orange, banana, clove, pepper. Fizzy champagne. A good rather thick summery beer.

Like any other hope head, I salivate when I hear the year’s batch has been released. It is the smoothest summer ale I have ever tasted - I had my first one when it was still called Solsun and bottled in 22oz bottles. This is the best example of a summer wheat beer I have ever had and the brewer should be sainted for releasing this to the public - great job Larry!!!

Bottle: Pours a clouded orangey-gold in the glass. Sufficent bit not large wite cap...fair lacin on glass. Aroma is demure; biscuit, honey and citrus peel. Thin body light character, gritty mouth feel. Tastes like a liquid version of wheat biscuit with honey-lemon filling...turns dry in the finish, light lemon snap at the end. Decent enough new wold wheat ale.

Pours a lovely shade of golden brown with a bright white foamy head. Light aroma of grain and lemon. Mouthfeel is dense and substantial. Tastes of sweet citrus, earthy yeast, and good grain. Very tasty.
