COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Had this at Duckworth’s yesterday again for $2. Great summer brew. Really smooth and enjoyable. It was fairly hot later in the afternoon and nothing quenches that like an Oberon. A slight spiciness in the hop balances this beer out beautifully.

(draught at Ale Emporium) cloudy pale yellow pour with a spare cream head. Nose of oranges, wheat, other citrus and crisp fruity hops. Taste is spicy, oranges, citrus oils, wheat and lightly earthy. Refreshing body that is creamy and light.

bell’s oberon is pretty much a classic in michigan. a good summer beer, pretty light and refreshing. i struggle with rating this as i’m not big on this style, and i prefer something bolder.

During a recent visit to Detroit, all the locals were talking about this Oberon, it was like a national Holiday of the release, so of course I partook in a few pints. Pours light orange with a thin head. Aroma has some citrus and grass notes. They serve it with a slice of orange. Flavor definitely is "wheaty" with notes of fresh oranges. Very light beer and very tasty on warm day. Nothing earth shattering, but a must in Michigan.

Pours burnt orange with a small head. Aroma is citrus and wheat. Taste is orange sweet. An excellent beer to drink after a day on the beach. Very nice wheat beer.

Hazy golden orange with some sediment, and a medium white head... mild wheat aroma, very summery, a touch floral... mildly hoppy, a touch dry, a touch floral... very easy drinking, alcohol can sneak up on you w an afternoon of extensive drinking.... medium bodied, light mouthfeel...

Light, crisp, citrus, wheaty nose. Cloudy golden orange in color with a thin head and visible carbonation. The flavor starts out wheaty and sweet and kind of citrusy ends with hops and moderate bitterness. Overall, Good
