COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

12 ounce bottle, bottled 06/03/11. Pours hazy and cloudy golden orange color with a fairly dense 1 finger white head with nice retention, that reduces to a fairly thick lacing cap. A small amount of lacing clings to the glass as well. Aromas of orange, wheat, pepper, spices, bread, and yeast. Fairly nice aromas, but they are a bit muted. Taste of big orange, bread, spices, pepper, and lemon. Lingering notes of pepper and spices on the finish. Nice balance of flavors throughout. Medium carbonation and body, with a bit of a creamy mouthfeel as well. No alcohol noticed other than a slight warming after the finish as expected. Very high drinkability as well, as expected. Overall this is a very nice wheat ale I would have again.

...had this a few times both in bottle and on tap. Pours a golden yellow with small white head. Nice orange nose, light and airy. Clean, not overly flavored or too thick, nice and clean, with a citrus ale finish. Pretty decent.

Nice Summer beer. Light and clean taste. A great beer could use a tad more hopps but all is well and a pleasant suprise

My favorite summer beer. A citrus smell and taste with good body and flavor. Not thin like most summer beers, and not flavorless like other summer beers with similar body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle. Hazy yellow with a nice white head... sadly, not too much lacing as the drink went down the glass. The beer was hazy with some floaters... always like a beer with floaters... not sure what these were but they were (yeast) but they were plentiful. Yeasty nose. The flavor was ok and refreshing with little or no aftertaste.

On tap and bottle. Appearance: Pours a dark shiny orange with lasting white head, nice. Aroma: Spicy and fruity hops, I get pepper, mango and pinneaples. Taste: Some spiciness too, but even more fruity. Orange peel, pinneaple, banana The wheat caracter is more noticeable is the taste. Palate: Full bodied with a nice bitter finish and quite dry. Overall: I like this one a lot, very crisp and refreshing. Nice hybrid between a wheat and a PA.

Hazy orange gold pour. Aroma is citrus (orange, primarily) and wheat. Flavor is light, featuring wheat, fruitiness and yeast profile. Not bad.

draft in Atlanta. I wish I could go into a more thorough description but I’m reviewing in retrospect. Pours a golden color with small white head. I was surprised to find a bold, assertive spicy hop aspect to the aroma, while still retaining a classic wheat profile. Medium bodied, not light but still refreshing, satisfying, smooth. Flavor was a kind of spicy, hoppy wheat that I found to be quite unique and pleasent. Somewhere in between a wheat ale and an APA, this is a brew that pushing the boundaries of style and was very enjoyable.
