COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a cloudy light amber with a thin white head. Medium carbonation with some lacing. Faint aroma of fruit, biscuit, and some spices. Flavor of wheat with a slightly bitter taste on the roof of the mouth and a peppery finish. Fairly crisp but not a refreshing as I had expected. OK but not that great.

I can't understand what the hype is over this beer every year. Oberon is a good beer but the all the pomp and circumstance has turned me off to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
