Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Nice, easy drinking straight from the can. Juicy, a little orange rind with a crisp dry finish. Could put down more than one of these. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours deep golden with a small and quickly disappearing head. Aroma is honey, wheat and citrus. Sweet and peasant head. A little spice but mostly a very pleasant and easy to drink beer.

Pour is a hazy sunset gold with medium soapy head. Aroma is full of citrus hops, orange peel, lemon peel, earthy yeast, and wheat. There’s also a faint hint of Taste is very pleasant sweet and sour with a touch of bitterness. You definitely get that spiciness they mention in the taste, not so much the aroma. Palate is medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is lengthy with a spicy, sour/bitter finish. I have always enjoyed this beer and it is consistently good. Not the most complex of beers, but it definitely has a satisfying amount of flavor. Always a favorite of mine.

Poured from 12 oz. Bottle, over 1/2 inch head, slight lacing. Bread and yeast smell. Very light orange color. Wheat, refreshing citrus lemon orange taste. A little bitterness on the tail end, but not overpowering. Leaves a nice bready taste deep in the throat. A good summer brew.

Realize this beer is extremely hype up, but being from Michigan I’m partial to it. Especially some it was a gateway craft beer for me 11 years ago. Had the pleasure of enjoying this year’s release in the new 16 oz can. Aroma of orange, coriander, and malts. Flavors of orange, wheat, clove, and lemon. Medium-High carbonation, light in body, with a crisp finish. Great summer beer, extremely refreshing.

Bottled from BevMo. Tastes like a very average American style wheat brew to me. I was surprised at it’s lack of character considering it;s ratings.

Pourq cloudy orange with medium white Head. Aromas are cereals, citrus and herbs. Medium body and average carbonation. Not fond of white beers usually, but this one is not too spicy as European ones. Refreshing and pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow, slight hops. Kind of disappointed with this one. Mediocre at best I would say.
