COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Pours a hazy gold with a medium-thick white head. Wheat and a little sugar on the nose. Flavors of wheat, yeast, with a slight hop bitterness at the end. High carbonation and flzvor are very reminisent of a Belgian-style ale. Very good.

Cloudy golden body with a thin offwhite head. Sweet wheat, citrus, yeasty aroma. Lightly sweet wheaty flavor. Aftertaste has a slightly hoppy bitterness.

A nice summertime beer; pours a golden straw color with minimal head but lots of carbonation. Very little aroma other than a touch of wheat/grass. Nice, clean flavors of wheat, yeast, and banana. Fizzy carbonated mouthfeel detracts a bit, and I think the unfiltered wheat goodness of Boulevard actually makes a better beer for the dog days of summer.

Sample at Bell’s Fest in OH. Cloudy orange pour with a steady stream of carbonation keeping it lively. Again that wet dog aroma (there has to be a better/more sophisticated way of describing how this aroma comes about since I seem to run into quite often) and a sweet corn flavor.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy, bright gold color with a foamy, white head. Grapefruit, lemon, yeast, a touch of bread, and a sweetness I can’t quite place in the nose. The grapefruit makes a return on the palate along with a light malt sweetness, a little hops, honey, wheat, citrus pith and what I thought to be a touch of salt. Medium-high carbonation with a slightly prickly then smooth mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a slight dryness. Short finish with just a little malt and bitterness sticking to the tongue. Overall a great summertime quaff. Light enough to be sessionable but full enough to be satisfying.

Pours hazy straw color. Aroma is coriander and yeast. I think this has a medium mouthfeel that if consumed slowly is not very desirable. When compared to Boulevard Wheat, Goose Island 312, and New Belgium Sunshine Wheat it is much better. Not a beer that I could drink a lot of though because of the mouthfeel.

Bottle from theisti. Clean smelling, not much going on in the nose. Crisp wheaty taste, little banana and a pleasant spicy finish. Easy summer drinker. Thanks, Tim.

Smells great, excellent head. I sense a little fruit coming through. Very easy to drink.
