COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Poured a hazy golden color with a short white head. The aroma was light citrus, malt and wheat. The flavor was lightly spiced citrus and wheat. Drinkable, almost refreshing. Not bad at all for a style I’m kind of meh about.

poured cloudy golden with nice foamy head. ARmoma of fruity grain. Malty taste and well carbonated with a malty aftertaste not overly sweet. very drinkable. Didn’t live up to the hype.

The first Bells beer tried, came recommended by several people. Not a real big wheat beer drinking, prefer darker beer. Was pleasantly surprised however. Very drinkable.

12 oz bottle. I don’t usually like wheats, but this came highly recommended. Pours a beautiful golden color with a pure white half finger high head. Smells of malt, wheat, some hops, and fruit. Tastes of lots of wheat, some hops, and a bit of fruit. The malt kind of disappeared, which was refreshing. Very smooth going down, almost as smooth as a lager, but has more body to it. Very good, and almost made me enjoy wheats.

Pours a cloudy golden-yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is spices, a bit hops , some citrus. Taste is sweet, just a hint of spice, and a slight hop finish. Well balanced and pleasant.

Sampled some of this beer on tap at RFD in Washington, D.C. The beer had a golden straw-yellow color that was cloudy with a thin foamy white head that had average retention and cling. The beer had a lemon, and citrus hops aroma with a bit of floral scents and some yeast. Its taste was very sweet with lemon and citrus and a bit of fruity spice. The body was on the thinner side with low carbonation and was pretty wet. Not a favorite style of mine and this beer did not impress very much.

12 oz bottle. Golden yellow in color, with light to no head. Aroma is sweet with a scent of hops. Taste sweet, hints of orange, wheat and hops. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Not overpowering though. Batch: 8991
