Pours cloudy yellow with 2 fingers of light head. Nose is light wheat, soap & white flower. Palate is even if a little thin with light flavors of orange &wheat. Not pungent enough for me

pours hazy orange with floating sediment, aroma is typical wheat ale, slight spices, grassy etc. flavor is the same as well, crisp and clean just not enough flavor for me, i should probably give up on wheat ales, just dont seem to be my thing, too bland and boring.

First beer in Ohio!...made in MI...oops. It was fine but honestly underwhelming. Seemed "bready" to me. Don’t worry, I still love you Bells.

On tap at the brass tap, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Had the aroma of wheat, orange zest and a touch of hops. Tasted like it smelled, and had a mild spiceness. A great summer beer to drink on the patio of the brass tap.

12 oz. bottle from A Southern Season
Ar: Tangy lemon and wheat up front, a bit of peach.
Ap: Pours a slightly hazy light orange-straw. 1" head dissipates pretty quickly but leaves very good lace.
T: Very little malt sweetness, with a proper tartness on the finish throughout the mouth.
P: Medium body, a bit thicker than I expect from a wheat ale.
O: Good beer, but not as good as Gumballhead. Still one of the better wheats I can get in Chapel Hill.

A Milwaukee beer distributor once told me a story about Oberon in which Bell’s was "strongly influenced" by Chicago-area distributors to make this outstanding ale year-round or else Bell’s products wouldn’t be properly distributed in the Chicago region. Not sure whether there is any truth to the story, but I’m grateful this is still a seasonal because it is one of the great summer beers out there. And if I’m drinking it today, summer must be here!
