Jonathan3584 (323), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jun 27, 2005 Bells never disappoints me, even with a style that’s hard to work with as this one is. Light orange/copper, hazy pour. White head that sticks around for a while. Yeasty aroma, thicker mouthfeel than normal for a wheat, which is nice. Strong malt flavor with the wheat very apparent. Good esters in the flavor, too -- lots of clove and banana.
PKPMarine (6), , California, USA does not count Jan 3, 2009 One of my favorite summer beers. Pours hazy like an unfiltered wheat. Nice balance of fruity flavors with a refreshing finish. coyotehunter (99), , Michigan, USA Dec 31, 2008 One of the better summer wheats. Found this one last week. Turns out they dont age for diddly. Not the best. Milky orange color with a good fruity aroma of lemons and oranges. Some light malt shows through as well.
good hot summer night beer. estebon100 (7), skokie, Illinois, USA does not count Dec 29, 2008 Very good summer ale. Foamy head with a fruity aroma. Citrus taste makes it good. i recommend trying this one. DrDavid (670), Johnson, Vermont, USA Dec 28, 2008 Bottle. Mild sweet fruit aroma. Hazy orange body, small head. Mild clean flavor, not much going on. A touch of lemon. FarFromHome (33), casablanca, Morocco Dec 25, 2008 Smells good, and has a decent color, but there are particles drifting about. And by particles, I mean disgusting giant white blobs that look like dead skin. Its a good whitbier, if a bit hoppy for my tastes, but every time I see those dead skin blobs floating about, my tongue turns inside out. Bleh.
