COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of oxidation, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of oxidation, combined with notes of malt, caramel, and metal, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled. Cloudy orange in colour. Neutral aroma. Some melon, a lot of fizz together with a watery light body and low bitterness makes this a highly disappointing effort from Kalamazoo. Some bubblegum in the finish can't save it.

Bottle, 12oz. A hazy one, golden in color and with a two-finger off-white head. Lacings. The aroma has wheat, some spiced hints, orange and a grassy and peppery hint. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with wheat, some spiced hints and a orange twist. Medium to full body, quite dry, and with a pleasant carbonation level. Bitter, orangey finish. A beer I don’t think is impressive in any way, but it’s a nice thirst quencher and summer beer. 130822
