12 oz bottle; nose of spices, grain, and very light peach and butter notes; orange with a small off white head; flavor is spicy fruit and grain with a hint of butter (diacetyl). Not a great wheat.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2008 bottle. pours hazy golden with white fluffy head. nose is slightly citrusy with some wet grain and oats smell. flavor is leathery, wheaty, and biscuity. the leathery taste and texture gets to me a bit. carbonation is smooth. body is light but not watery. finish is a bit too wheaty and there needs to be a little more bitterness to balance that out.2.7.

7/6/08, sampled on tap at the eccentric cafe and this really shined on tap, really nice fresh spicy hop character, balanced the citrus and wheaty malt profile. really refreshing beer.3.5.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2007 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Had in bottle before & on tap in Chicago. pours a orangish & cloudy gold. Citrusy aroma. Big sort of artifical & perfumy flavor. One of the better American wheat I’ve encountered

RE-RATE 7/1/11 Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow orange color. Small white head. Aroma is grains with lemon peel and gentle hops. Flavor is gentle spice, citrus and brown sugar. Sweet flavors with a gentle hop kiss. Great!

Bottle at the Brickskeller in DC. Hazy golden-orange color with a big white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, and light fruits. Flavor is wheaty with an awesome fruitiness - banana, citrus, and tropical fruit - with some sweet honey. Really tasty. Palate medium-light and creamy. Simply one of the best wheat ales out there.

I would like to thank all of the little people that made it possible for me to enjoy this beer. Wohlfs (Steve) that is you. Thank you. Pours cloudy orangish with a this durable white head. Nice malty aroma with some citrus and yeasty notes. Tastes like light orange soda. A real nice wheat beet weighing in at 6%, nice!
