COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2011 Sweet Oberon. I used to quaff pints and pints of this stuff back in the day, and I’m so glad it’s now available in NC. Tangy, slightly bitter, but also rich and nicely chewy, this is the ultimate summer session brew.

Orange-yellow with some noticeably small spotty floaties, white foam with spotty lacing. Aroma is full of red wheat, light citrus, bitter oranges. Taste is spicy, lots of wheat, bitter orange peel.

Had this beer on draught. Visually this is a most unique beer. It is by far the cloudiest beer this beer drinker has ever encountered. Made for a great presentation. Also drank quite well. Great flavor and aroma made for a truly pleasant drinking experience.

Bottle thanks to drowland. Glad to try it as this will complete my rating of the top 50 most rated beers. Hazy golden orange, with creamy white head. Citrus, wheat, sweetness, and lightly spicy. Decent, easy drinking, and boring. About what I would expect.

12/15/09 1st time in az. on tap and in bottles at papago! hazy shade of iced tea... yellow-y orange with a soft white head. it smells of oranges, coriander, dusty wheat, pale malt and floral. it tastes the same with a slightly bitter floral and grainy finish. crisp, clean, easy drinking and refreshing... why was this not always here? i could (and do) drink a ton of this stuff in the heat. 7/4/7/4/16/3.8

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with yem25. Pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that faded to a light film after the first quarter of the glass. Light but pleasant aroma of wheat grain and just a touch of lemon. Flavor is similar but stronger than the aroma with plenty of wheat with just a bit of lemon and perhaps some yeast as well. The mouthfeel is more full bodied and creamy than a typical wheat ale and is a plus for this beer. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Cloudy wheat beer w/ a nice bite on the palate. Very much reminds me of a white beer

Poured a murky yellowish brew with some sediment. The head was medium thickness, off white, creamy. The aroma was sour, citrusy, had hints of lemon grass. The flavor was sour, very crisp and clean, some coriander. The palate was very crisp. All in all a good solid wheat ale.
