An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

This beer might be the best american wheat ales in existence. Pours kind of orangish, hazy with a white head. Great spicey wheat flavor and nice finish. Good carbonation and great mouthfeel, and an awesome summer beer.

TAR (2214) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - JUN 7, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2006 Pours with a typical chalky and chunky foam which is dense and creamy. Aroma is straight yeast, hints of butter, citrus, marshmallow, and whispers of coriander. Flavors are again, yeasty, with an array of oaty goodness that coats the mouth. This has drastically improved since they’ve acquired their new brewing system and rigorous QC. Very good considering the dull style.

redlight (2209) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - FEB 27, 2007
This beer is supposedly available statewide in Fl. but the company that distributes it only sells it in the city its based in! Hints of banana, mixed with citrus, feint signs of nutmeg. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head that doesn’t linger long. Buttery, hints of citrus and banana, but a lot of butter, with a bitter finish.

Pours cloudy yellow gold with lots of sediment and a thin white head that disappears. Aroma is wheat and mild citrus. Very tasty nothing is overpowering and also has a good hop balance. Creamy medium body and carbonation. Orange rind finish.

Bottle. Aroma of citurs. Flavor is that of a typical wheat beer, with that of some fruit, citrus, and yeast. Finish is pretty crisp and pretty refreshing.

decided to pick up a few of these once they were freshly brewed...cloudy orange appearance with big head....aroma is of citrus hops, as was the flavor (lemon is distinct)...palate was a tad harsh; a nice summer beer

Batch 8995, thanks bitbucket! Hazy murky yellow, some orange, all around blonde i guess. My stuffy nose couldn’t detect much beyond the dry wheat nose. Refreshing with a dusty dry side and a liquid sugar side. There’s some enjoyable depth if I look for it, though I also could drink 6 by the pool and not think twice either. Gets more and more dry as I drink it.
