UPDATED: DEC 13, 2006 Soft, snowy white head and cloudy dark straw-colored body. Surprising aroma of butterscotch, biscuits, nuts, and yeast. Wheaty, butterscotch flavor with a tangy, tangerine quality. Light spiciness and well-integrated hops that are a subtle but substantial component. Long, woody finish. High diacetyl levels make this a highly unusual American wheat beer but it is unique and interesting. Later cleaner samples were much more refreshing and enjoyable.

Pours hazy light orange with white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Similar flavors. Medium body with average carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. A nice beer to drink on an 80 degree January afternoon in MIami

Staple summer drinking in Michigan. Despite all the great Bell’s, this is usually the only one on tap in the Detroit-Metro area. Still, it’s what you need on a summer day.

Bottle courtesy of cmr1517. Pours a cloudy orange with a minimal white head. Nose is faint lemon, grain and wheat. Palate is clean with some orange peel, sweet wheat and a touch grain bitters in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Nice, refreshing beer. Thanks for sharing this Chris!

Bottled (thanx to the american bunch). Hazy yellowish golden coloured with a small head. Sweet and malty with notes of citrus and hops.

Draft - Hazed gold, creamy white head. Light honey wheat and citrus aromas warm to a touch of grassiness. Faint bready wheat and citrus flavors balance each other well. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Decent for a lawn mower chugger...

bottle. hazy yellow body, liberal carbonation, and a lush white head. aroma consists of grass, cookies, faint hops, and a little bit of spice. I haven’t had many American Wheats but this is by far the best. Very nice wheat character along with spicy notes. This is a killer thirst quencher for the summer.
