3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jimhilt (2112) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 8, 2004
Typical summer ale, light bodied, light-medium carbonation and a cloudy pale yellow. Pours a one-fingered, white head that settles quickly but leaves some lace. Looking for the wheat and not finding it, this is a pale without the bitter hoppy aftertaste. 12oz bottle $1.75, from Liquor Barn, Lexington, KY.

Decent bright white head of fine bubbles. Good carbonation. Strange composty aroma with some grass and yeast. Maybe some light fruit. Color is a hazy golden orange. Kind of dry bland flavor. Little bit of yeast and wheat and kind of gritty. Little bit of sickly sweetness to it. This seems to hit me on a bunch of wheat brews. They just don’t sit all that well in my stomach. Finish is dry and pretty clean with a after palate similar to that of a eating a crisp apple.

Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is wheaty with hints of hops and lemon citrus. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, wheaty with lemon. Very refreshing brew.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 MIBRomeo (2105) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 19, 2005
Pours a light golden color w/ big carbonation a big thick small bubbled head and some chunks floating in it as well. Scent was initially a nice carmel malt some light fruits and a bit of dough. Palate is fairly creamy almost fluffy w/ a great mouth feel. Flavor is odd at the least a light nutmeg and wheat and an odd hop w/ some very light fruity floral tastes and a mild malt. Overall a great summertime beer.

First beer in Ohio!...made in MI...oops. It was fine but honestly underwhelming. Seemed "bready" to me. Don’t worry, I still love you Bells.

Bottle: Hazy straw color with a finger of creamy white head. Light and airy aroma is floral and faintly spicey. Tastes rich with wheat, bread, and malt. A little yeast and cloves too. Rich with the wheat, almost like wheat bread. Crisp finish. Nice.

Great summertime beer, lots of wheat flavor. Pours a hazey yellow colour with a nice fluffy sweetly aromatic head. Great retention, nice lacing. Aroma is pleasent, Orange peel, coriander and some sort other sort of spice. Delightfully sweet flavors. Refreshing, clean and crisp all the way through.

Cloudy orange in colour. Aroma of sugar, slight hops, peaches and some yeast. Flavour started sweet, turning to hops with a medium bitterness. Finishes smooth, creamy and a quick bitterness.
