Very aromatic, citrusy/yeasty. Good color, a little dark for the style but acceptable. Good wheat flavors on the palate and nice bubbly mouth feel.

This is clearly, without a 2nd thought my favorite American Wheat ale. Now, to me American Wheat’s are one of the most uninteresting styles out there. We just don’t do the wheat beer justice. Unless it has some fruit in it, it’s usually some boring POS beer. This isn’t that. An appearance of bright yellow and orange, slight haze and a nice two-finger off white head. Aroma is citrusy, slightly yeasty with a bit of cracker. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and lively. Flavors had a crisp, clean citrus hop, slightly sweet and an excellent clean finish. Bell’s makes another excellent beer and this can be consumed all day and all night. Nice beer.

Pours light golden and hazy with a thin foamy white head.Aroma of corn, light toasted grains, and mild fruity esters.
Taste is light graininess with wheat and some apparent adjuncts, although I doubt if this beer actually contains corn, it sure does smell and taste like it. A very mild citrusy/fruity note is also noticable, but not dominant. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Really not as bad as most American Wheat beers, but this still isn’t very appealing, please try again.

MABR-Cloudy light amber color, small white head that faded fast.Wheaty citrus aroma with a light spice character to it.The taste was better then i thought it would be,Wheaty sweet taste with a slight spice and fruity tone with a slight yeasty flavor, the after taste being wheat and citrusy with a nice smooth feel to the brew. This was one fine brew and for the price it can't be beat.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Frank (1966) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2003
Bright golden with a bit of haze. No head aside from a trace amount of foam. Aroma is yeasty, lightly fruity (peach?). Slightly buttery with a hint of cloves. Tart and fruity. Slightly too thick and sticky to be the true summer refresher this wants to be. Still, it's mild, easy-drinking, and quite pleasant.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2007 Cloudy deep yellow. Fizzy head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is of haircare products such as hairspray. Light wheatiness. Not my favorite Bell’s but worth trying.
