4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 joet (1851) - Fulton, California, USA - SEP 21, 2002
an appearance point for the label and packaging, funny and well done. Soft but very hoppy, fully aromatic and lightly bready with little to no toast or fruit. Light lemons and a touch of camphor or spearmint. Unusual, full flavored, and dangerously quaffable.

12 oz bottle thanks to drewbeerme. Pours a hazy orange with a decent beige white head. Notes of orange and lemon citrus, yeast and a little spice in the nose. Creamy wheat flavors, yeasty, citrusy, and the slightest bit of spice from hops. Pretty well balanced and tasty.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 tjthresh (1840) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - MAY 26, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 4, 2006 On tap at Waldo Pizza. Hazy yellow with a small white cap. Citrus aroma. I’d swear there was Cascades in there. Wheaty and citus/spice with a nice touch of bitterness. A real thirst quencher.

An intersting cloudy yellow color; Thick to medium head with large buubles; Nose is nothing but YEAST. I can’t put my finger on this one but I really like it. Nice spiciness reminecent of a saison. Very bready as well. Wonderful mouthfeel- almost grainy. Thanks Proc for a new favorite.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Brigadier (1837) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2008
12 oz bottle
I finally got around to trying this after too many pints to count. It is just as average as I remembered. Perfect for drinking on a summer afternoon at the Memorial Union or while grilling out I’m not so sure this would be my preferred daily drinker. Freshness is the key with this one; don’t try to age it or you’ll be fairly disappointed with the results.
Aroma / Appearance - The short lived white head disappeared into the pumpkin colored body. Perfect for the season it smelled of orange slices, buttered scones and sweet hops. Very mellow by the time I got to it I can only imagine it was much better within a month or two of bottling.
Flavor / Palate - Orange slices dipped in a thin layer of inexpensive chocolate filled the mouth. Carbonated only slightly the mouthfeel trickles over the throat. A hint of white bread touches the tongue towards the end. Relaxing for a summer afternoon I still don’t know that I would prefer this over other local options.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yobdoog (1835) - Woodridge NY, New York, USA - SEP 22, 2009
Bright orange yellow color with a dense head. Aroma is really nice. Sweet with some zesty citrus hops. Very clean, but don’t age this one. Very floral taste and bright and refreshing. Love those mini kegs. Great beer.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - JUN 6, 2009
12 oz. bottle. Hazy, bright gold color with a foamy, white head. Grapefruit, lemon, yeast, a touch of bread, and a sweetness I can’t quite place in the nose. The grapefruit makes a return on the palate along with a light malt sweetness, a little hops, honey, wheat, citrus pith and what I thought to be a touch of salt. Medium-high carbonation with a slightly prickly then smooth mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a slight dryness. Short finish with just a little malt and bitterness sticking to the tongue. Overall a great summertime quaff. Light enough to be sessionable but full enough to be satisfying.
