COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Bottle, marked with "6276". Tons of suspended sediment in the body, wish I had poured more gently! Thin white head. Burnt cookie and overripe banana in the aroma. The flavor has a very strong yeast component for obvious reasons. The carbonation and spicy hops make for a very lively mouthfeel. The beer has a brief bready sweetness but it’s quickly eclipsed by the yeast and strong hops. Has a herbal, bitter finish. I think the hops are way to strong, they hide whatever nice wheat characteristics might have been in the beer. Also, all the yeast in my glass probably contributes to masking the malt as well.

Botlle coutesy of Stegosaurus. I think I enjoyed this more then he did. Typical hazy pour for a wheat beer. Spice, wheat were detected in both the nose and the palate. By far not the best wheat beer , a little thin but a good relaxing beer.

Cybercat (1736) - Georgia, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Aroma is strong, malty, yeasty, very inviting. It pours a clear straw-yellow - not inspiring, but at least the white head is nice and thick and hangs around for a bit. Flavor is fairly strong and refreshing, if not complex - malty with a wheaty undertone and a touch of fruit. Texture is smooth and just a little fizzy.

Pours out a cloudy straw/light golden color with a small one finger white head. Aroma is of some grassy yeasty notes, but none too strong. Taste is straight forward but very well done. Yeast, citrus some spice and a little bitterness going on in the background, dangerously drinkable.

Probably the only beer from the k-zoo brewing company that i actually like. It had a flavor all its own.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy orangne with white head. Smells of citrus and yeast, taste is citrus and wheat. This is the beer that led to my discovery of craft beer some 11 years ago. Taste buds have really changed since back then but still a good brew.

Pours a hazy light orange with wheat and grassy hop in the nose. Flavor is light citrus, tangy wheat, and a little sweet maltiness.
