Interesting brew. A little thicker, sweeter, and less refreshing than what I expected. But still a good brew. Kinda reminded me of drinking a big glass of juice. Not one of my favorite wheat beers but not bad either.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a small long lasting head with great lacing. Aroma is of fresh tangelos, wheat, honey, and spicy hops. Taste is citrus and wheat with good carbonation and spicy hops. A little thin but very refreshing.

Orange with lots of yeast, white foam with solid lacing. . Taste is the normal bland wheat with lots of spiciness, yeast, orange peel. Definitely one of the better wheat beers I’ve tried.

On draft, pours hazy orange with nice white head, has aroma of malt and orange peel, nice summer beer!

9-18-07 bottle. Cloudy orange golden color. Fluffy initial head. Smells doughy and slightly sweet - a bit too subtle. A decent amount of flavor - actually an incredible amount of flavor in comparison to other wheats. This beer has depth. I really enjoyed it. Great smoothness - almost rich on the palate. A fantastic developed flavor for a wheat.

12 oz. bottle (batch 10983) served in shaker- I’m suprised Mickey D’s doesn’t carry this because I saw this beer EVERYWHERE in MI. Served a transparent yellow/straw color, 2mm white head formed but just didn’t lace. Aroma of lemon and wheat and a hint of yeast. Hits the mouth with a light medium body, malt is super wheaty with some lemon and a very tiny note of spice in the middle, finish is complete. Oh lord, stuck in Lodi again...

Pours a cloudy orange-golden. Lots of fluffy white cloud like head. Flavor is biscuity, full of fruity notes. Finishes clean.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy and very deep gold with light orange highlights and a medium-thin white head that is persistent and leaves light streaks and spots of lace on the glass. The aroma is bready with a touch of spice/herbs (Saaz) and a light touch of sweet honey. Flavor is bready with very little sweetness and a strong herbal quality from late Saaz hop additions. The finish is less dry than expected from the lack of up-front sweetness with a firm spicy/floral bitterness and some wheat flavor. The mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing with a good bit of carbonation and a body that is actually medium-full but feels lighter due to the suds. Overall, an interesting and tasty wheat ale - the distinct Saaz flavors make it refreshing -- almost reminiscent of flavors in a Bohemian Pilsner...

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2008 Misty and cloudy colored, with some snowflakes in there for good measure. Aroma is fresh, sweet and smooth. Sweet, citrusy and spicy tastes. Goes down easily, and I could see myself pounding these for a while. Good stuff.
