GABF ’07. Pours hazy yellow with a small, fizzy, white, diminishing head, spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain, meal), average hops (herbs) and average yeast (earth, leaves). Medium bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation, and chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, light straw and honey. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, honey and light citrus with a smooth dry lingering honey finish.

Bottle pours a golden orange summer unfiltered wheat ale. The wheat gives the one a weak body perfect for some summer yardwork. Flavor is some orange, honey, wheat, and spice.

Bottle: Pours a light yellow color with nice head and lacing. Nose of light toasty and hop, some malt and light citrus, faint wheat. The flavor has a nice full body and a solid mouthfeel with more wheat than the nose along with a tangy characteristic that wasn’t there before. Nice vitamin c type finish, light malt sweetness, good body. Nice all around wheat, but no similarities with the german counterpart.

Pours a hazy pastel yellow-orange body with a moderate white head. Aroma is mostly fruit accented yeastiness - mild citrus and maybe banana - with a bizarre sort of sour undercurrent that I can only describe as stale elementary school student vomit. This sounds harsh, but its the best thing I could come up with to describe what is in actual fact not that bad. Just a bit of a... wheaty? bite in the background. Pleasant medium-thick palate. Flavour is refreshing and restrained yet still subtly complex. Otherwise sweet profile is balanced by the bitterness with a wheaty bite to it. Finish vaguely reminds me of some of the Unibroue products. Thanks for this bottle Obisbeer.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2005 I was surprized to find out this was a wheat ale, the label not giving away any of the ingredients. This has a righteous hopped aroma with a thick red/tan head, a pleasant bitterness followed by a citric aftertaste. No alcohol flavor, just solid refreshment.

Cloudy orangey-yellow, small vanishing head, Organic green, slightly citrus aroma. At deep end some hoppinesss. Sweet some berry candy like, hopped bottom.
