An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Such a nice summer. Easy malts and slight hops make for a perfect summer beer.

12 fl oz bottle from Potsdam, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Murky dirty blonde with a nice tight off-white head. Aroma: A bit tangy, lots of wheat, wet yeast, kinda boring. Palate: Medium body, full, silky effervescence. Flav.: A little infected, wheat, boiled cereals, light esters, not very enjoyable; dry with limited bitterness and a clean-ish wheat finish.

Decidedly meh.

Golden in color and tastes and smells like summer! Tastes great with out without an orange slice!

A nice lightly cloudy golden color on this ale Some spice comes through on the nose. Wheat, grass, and spiced fruit come through on the palate. Fairly complex and very drinkable. Great summertime beer.

Very good beer. Light enough to drink when itís hot outside, and perfect for a sunny day. I also enjoy this all year round because it has a very nice wheat flavor, but the yeast helps add the citrus.

Oberon packs a lot of goodness into its cloudy yellow body. Itís as easy on the nose as it is on the eyes with a soft bready aroma and some spicy cloves thrown in for good measure. The flavor has some mild yeast funk, citrusy hops, and candy-like wheat malt. The crisp, lively carbonation keeps the body light and refreshing. Oberon may not be Bellís boldest or most complex ale, but itís one of the best examples of an American style pale wheat ale.

Pours a cloudy golden amber color with a slight white head. Slight citrus aroma. The texture is smooth, light and tasty. Perfect is everyday and very easy to see why it is considered so good.

12 oz bottle into a shaker. Decanted the pour, leaving most of the yeast in the bottom the bottle, but still some yeast in suspension which is spot on for a german style wheat bear. This feels like a slightly more hoppy version of the summer wheat beers you can find in Bavaria. Smells of citrus and summer! I love this beer on a hot summer day.
