Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Bottle poured into weizen glass. Appearance is opaque golden straw with not much head. Aroma is citrus, banana, yeast, and light hops. Taste is similar, though there’s something about it I can’t put my finger on. The feel is a tad creamy, and very smooth. Overall, not bad, but not the amazing beer my friends rave about.

Pours a hazy golden color with medium white head. Yeasty aroma, quite lagerish to be honest, citrusy, with lemon and cerealy. Taste follows it, lemony, yeasty and cerealy, some orange and slightly grapefruit.
