COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

an appearance point for the label and packaging, funny and well done. Soft but very hoppy, fully aromatic and lightly bready with little to no toast or fruit. Light lemons and a touch of camphor or spearmint. Unusual, full flavored, and dangerously quaffable.

Sometimes on tap you can find this to be overly yeasty, but out of a bottle, especially on a lake while sailing, it is about as fine as they come. I like the gingery tang to it quite a bit and admire any fuller bodied wheat that escapes banana pitfalls.

One of the best American Wheats I’ve had so far. Great yeast/citrus flavor. Fuck a lemon slice in it, as it will only take away from this beer. Do not be afraid to swirl the dregs and plop ’em on in. K-Zoo, I am in love with you.

Probably the best wheat beer I have had in a long ass time. Cloudy, unfiltered. Rather big-bodied for a wheat beer....it had a unique "citric-breadiness" to it that gave me wood. Excellent sweet finish....great!

Though not a big fan of wheat, this is one of the few I enjoy. It’s not overpowering and it does not leave a bad-aftertaste compared to other wheats.

Amongst Michigan beer drinkers few events are more anticipated than the spring launch of Bell’s Oberon. This American wheat beer has found its way into the tap rotation of most good bars and restaurants. Overall, it’s an excellent American wheat. It has a solid body and the head sticks around for a while. Slight citrus flavors. The malt is more perceptible than with other wheats. My only complaint is that they seem to have changed yeast strains a few years ago ... this used to have a greaer phenol character. Still, great beer to welcome the sun with.

Wow - this is really great stuff - to me, a Belgian lover, this is the perfect summertime companion. Rich in flavor yet very drinkable.

12oz bottle, batch 8009, my beer was packaged on June 12, 2007. Hazy orange beer with dense white foam. Aroma is malty with lots of yeast notes, little bit of orange rinds in there too. Very rich flavor for a "summer beer", fairly malty, lots of wheat and a great yeast flavor. I’ve been converted, I used to hate it but now I really enjoy the Oberon.
