Pours with a deep golden body topped by a thin to medium thick, white head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and floral with a hint of bitterness and a touch of fruit. Light to medium bodied, smooth and a touch watery.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2009 This is one of my all time favorites, very smooth and refreshing, it doesn’t seem like summer until the first oberon’s been cracked, I had to scale this rating down a little just because even though I really do love this brew, I think a 4.3 was a little high

Hazy golden color, and a thin white head. A bit of a fruity aroma, but a stuffy nose is preventing any real comments. Bit of a citrusy taste, and a bit of wheat. Dry finish. Over all, not too bad, but Bells has better.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2009 This smells great. A malty but good aroma. Flavor is smooth and easily drinkable, this is quite tasty. Hard to even think of this as an American Wheat. Good stuff.

Sampled Spring Fort Lauderdale. Golden honey pour nice hops to the taste a slightly sticky sweet taste sits on top of citrus notes. Slight metallic aftertaste. Otherwise, another delicious brew from Bells.

Bottle, from John’s Grocery in Iowa City, IA. Hazy orange, smallish layer of fine white head. Cold, sweet orange aroma, a bit of mint. Green grass flavor and bitter citrus oil. hint of tomato. Nice touch of hops in the finish. Much higher flavor volume than the usual American-style wheat beer. I dig.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2011 What a treat. Just a great wheat beer with a hint of fruit flavor. Could taste the freshness on this first warm day of spring. More orange and camel over the years.
