draft in Atlanta. I wish I could go into a more thorough description but I’m reviewing in retrospect. Pours a golden color with small white head. I was surprised to find a bold, assertive spicy hop aspect to the aroma, while still retaining a classic wheat profile. Medium bodied, not light but still refreshing, satisfying, smooth. Flavor was a kind of spicy, hoppy wheat that I found to be quite unique and pleasent. Somewhere in between a wheat ale and an APA, this is a brew that pushing the boundaries of style and was very enjoyable.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy, bright gold color with a foamy, white head. Grapefruit, lemon, yeast, a touch of bread, and a sweetness I can’t quite place in the nose. The grapefruit makes a return on the palate along with a light malt sweetness, a little hops, honey, wheat, citrus pith and what I thought to be a touch of salt. Medium-high carbonation with a slightly prickly then smooth mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a slight dryness. Short finish with just a little malt and bitterness sticking to the tongue. Overall a great summertime quaff. Light enough to be sessionable but full enough to be satisfying.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour with a white foam head. Taste is very citrus with oranges and lemons at the forefront. I believe the one i had may have been a little old, it wasn’t quite as full and flavorful as i would have imagined. Will have to try again.

Pours a hazy gold with a medium-thick white head. Wheat and a little sugar on the nose. Flavors of wheat, yeast, with a slight hop bitterness at the end. High carbonation and flzvor are very reminisent of a Belgian-style ale. Very good.

Poured golden/amber w/ a thick white head that lingered. Nice lacing, some sediment floating. Great looking beer. Sweet malt and caramel nose with some yeast, raisin, grass and citrus. Lightly carbonated, medium body, a bit of oiliness in the mouthfeel. Overall a very good wheat al. Refreshing, easy to drink with good flavor. I’m glad I grabbed a 6-pack and not a single.

Pours a clear yellowish orange color with a small white head that gathers around the edges. Wheat and spicy notes in the aroma; a touch of lemon. The palate is light and refreshing, smooth on the tongue and lightly carbonated; not a bad finish. Good balance between sweetness in the malt and some dry spice and floral flavors. A little citrus in the flavor as well. Overall, refreshing and satisfying. Attention-grabbing for an American Wheat beer.

Bottle.
A - Hazed golden color with a largish, fluffy, foamy, light bubbly head. Pretty good retention leaving a thin lace.
S - Grainy wheat with a slight spicy and lemony aroma. Faint yeasty and fruitiness as well. Not bad.
T - Mostly a grainy malty flavor with a slight lemony citrus kick toward the finish. A very slight spiced flavor as well. Very smooth maltiness. Faintest hop finish with the lemony/citrus kick at the finish.
M - Very smooth and creamy body with a medium feel and a good carbonation.
D - Very easy to drink and pretty enjoyable to drink as well. Goes down so easy and is smooth. Great summer beer feel.
Notes: Batch 10252 Bottled: 3/9/11. Nice pale wheat (a style I’m not a big fan of) that is smooth and very easy to drink. Solid malt and wheat backbone with some spice, citrus, and hops to spice it up a bit. Not my favorite beer, but a nice refreshing summer beer.
