dpjuart (549), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 30, 2007 Bottle. Creamy head, aromas of citrus. Golden orange color. Not too bad. The first "American Wheat Ale" I’ve had. Suprisingly more hoppy than I anticipated, but it had a clean finish. Overall pretty good ale.
FlagstoneHill (190), Erie, Colorado, USA Aug 20, 2008 Day-old mini keg / 19 Aug 08
Light grainy aroma with hints of spicy hops
Golden, a bit hazy, white head with good retention
Bready malt flavor with spices, light spicy/citrusy hop flavor with a light bitterness
Light body, light carb (might be the day-old keg)
Very tasty and refreshing American Wheat beer. The spiciness and malty character blend nicely to make for a tasty treat
noncaloric (6), Madison, Wisconsin, USA does not count Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a noticeable but brief-lived white head. Aroma reminiscent of apples and clean laundry. Flavor begins with apples and citrus, with a pleasant warm effervescence on the tongue, fading to a grassy finish. The nutmeg and other spicy flavors notable in other examples of the genre are muted here. WSQ (1), va beach, Virginia, USA does not count Aug 18, 2008 Bottle, courtesy of a friend. wheat flavor hint of orange. taste a little weaker than aroma. not bad for a wheat. good in a pinch. stangger (106), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 18, 2008 12oz bottle. Orange/Brown. Aroma of yeast, wheat, lemony/orange citrus. Taste is tangy, spicy, light citrus. Extremely drinkable. jetzler (571), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottle, pours a light cloudy color similar to a wit, with a light fluffy head. Reminds me of a wit without the spice and aroma. Its also a bit watery, this is not a bad wheat and its easy to drink but nothing remarkable.
