One of the best American Wheat beers around. Very good malt. A great summer time brew.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with thin off white head. There’s a citrus, grassy, lemon, and grain aroma. Light body that was slick and oily on the palate. Flavor’s of lemon, orange, and earthy notes.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an unfiltered golden orange with little bits of sediment. Fizzy white head settles into a sticky cap that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is boiled peanuts, citrus rind, fresh cut grass, lemon zest, and some herbal notes. Flavor is lighter than the nose would suggest. Orange peel, coriander, slight hop bitterness on the back end rounded out by some sweet malts.

Presentation: 16 oz. can, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow color with a white, two finger head. Leaves some good lacing.
Smell: It has a strong aroma of grains and a hint of lemon peel.
Taste: It has a grainy, citrus taste. Nothing spectacular.
Mouthfeel: Light, refreshing and easy easy to drink, your typical summer beer. Average carbonation.
Overall: Nothing to write home about. It doesn’t stand out in any way, but I guess that’s fine for some beers. It’s still nice and refreshing like all the other craft offerings that flood
the market during the summer months.

For a summer sipper, you can’t beat Bell’s Oberon. Some citrus in the aroma. Nice head. Sublime.

Bottle, 6 months old. Someone left at my party. Don’t think I ever had this. Possibly before I started on this site while vacationing in michigan. Either way, never reviewed. Golden orange pour. Aroma is meh american wheat. At least doesn’t have the Weiss banana going on. Touch of citrus. Not impressed but wasn’t expecting to be.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Whole Foods Market, Bowery, New York, NY. A hazy straw coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Wheaty, malty aroma. Tastes similar, wheaty, malty, orange, hint of lemon. Would be quite nice on a hot summers day instead of a cool autumn day.

A wheat ale that’s smooth, but with a slight bitter aftertaste... Not my favorite, but it’s okay
