Clear, light amber body with a thick, lasting white head. Sweet, inviting aroma with notes of caramel, malt, and a touch of earth. Smooth, sweet, and delicious! Caramel and malty sweetness up front fades only slightly to a mild alcohol warming. Finishes smooth. Nice.

From bottle, the pour is orange with a white head that has a slight orange hue. The aroma is malts lightly roasted. The taste is medium roasted malts and cereal. The finish is malts. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and thin. Overall not a bad Octoberfest beer, if it is hot outside this would be a good one to drink at the fest.

12oz bottle. 8/18/16 bottle date. Appearance: Dark copper, with a slight haze and a thick off white head with great lacing. Aroma: Bready malt with a slight touch of spicy hoppiness. Taste: Bready, lightly toasted malt with a moderate bitterness, strong for the style, that lends some herbal and spicy notes. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Finish: A touch of sulphur, with bitter toast that lingers. Overall: A decent, but not great marzen. Seems to be a little light on the bready, Munich malt character of the style, and the lighter maltiness lends to a stronger perceived bitterness. Very clean, crisp and easy drinking, but pretty far removed from the true German Marzens

Pours Pale copper amber; brief white, frizzy head. Aroma caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt, on the sweet side, with a faint bitter hop note. Palate is a sweet coating to the tongue. Overall, nice Oktoberfest, generally well balanced. Sweetness seems to be a characteristic of most American Oktoberfests, and while not excessive here, it is a bit sweet for my taste.

Bottle. Caramel malt aroma with notes of bready malt, toast and grassy hops. Pours clear light amber colored with thin but retentive white head that also has good lacing. Starts with lots of sweet caramel malt flavor with light bready malt notes. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with toast and light grassy hop flavors. Nice Octoberfest!

A golden color with a white head. A mild citrus aroma. A very crisp and malty thing going on. This is a great ofest. The flavor is slightly bitter and also malty. Good stuff!

Bottle into mug, clear goldeny-amber color with light tan head. Aroma notes of caramel malt sweetness, some roast and light earthy hops. Taste adds toast, grain, some honey with balanced hop bitterness. Light-medium body, moderate-heavy carbonation, crisp, soft with clean caramel-faint bitter finish. Seems more hop forward than average, good.

Clear slightly darker amber color, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is malt dominated with toast, caramel, lightly grassy hops. Medium to light body, really drinkable, pleasant, no alcohol present.

12 oz bottle. 18 August 2016 brewing date stamp. Deep amber body with visible carbonation rising to a moderate size, bone-colored head that soon reduces to a thin top coat. Aroma: mild; with a touch more hops than malts. Flavor: Malts and hops in balance. This is a mainstream marzen with a bit less malt than I prefer. Medium body with near medium, lively carbonation.
