Bottle. Not much going on with the aroma. The beer carries a very small white head that disappears quickly No noticeable lacing or retention. It displays a beautiful sparkly orange gold color. Taste is excellent. Crisp and clean with a bready lightly sweet taste. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Good carbonation. Medium light body. Overall, it is a light refreshing beer that goes down smooth. A pleasure to drink.

Draft. Copper/amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, Munich malt, light biscuit. Medium body, medium maltiness, moderate caramel sweetness, and a light bitter finish.

Tap at Bulldog Uptown. Special Octoberfest celebration pimping the style of beer. A copper, maybe orange color with a basically non-existent head. Aroma is faint with a slight lean towards a hop/malt combo. Taste, at first, is actually better than expected. It doesn’t attempt anything original but pays homage to the style well. More malt than anything else. Probably worth ordering in this month but not otherwise.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with a white head. Taste malty, caramel, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Straightforward for the style, with a sweet caramel malt flavor that turns a but thin and watery at the back of the palate, showing an intense lagery dryness, lingering on an unpleasant bitter note.

"surprised at the lower marks...this one is a definite standout in the style. rich inviting aroma before i even poured it. pretty spot in traditional with the style, but much richer and more flavorful than your average Octo. Well done!"

Pours copperish with a small white head. A light malt aroma but just barely and the flavor has a mild malt taste with some light hoppish spice
