12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass.
Hazy golden color with a decent fluffy white head.
Pleasant citrus aroma, with some grains and bread, faint spicy hops.
Clean malt and hops flavors, some graininess, mellow citrus peel, med-hi bitterness, and some pine.
Light-med body, dry and refreshing. Cool.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The beer is golden hued with a half inch or so of head. Scents of bread, grain, mild hops. Pretty clean and easy drinking, though a bit bland. Not a lot of hop character here, though perhaps that is intentional. A bready, grainy beer that may be a nice counterbalance to some chili or spicy wings. Middle of the road.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a orange gold clouded and chunked with a slightly off white thick head. Aroma is slightly warm, sweet and earthy with floral and grass. Very slightly spicy and earthy up front with a grass and dirt with some pine hop finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium body. I like this beer and am suprised that the ratings do not reflect how good this beer is as I am usually the one who is over critical. Easy drinking 6 pack.

3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bellís Midwestern Pale is good but doesnít live up to the description. Light floral aroma coming from a light amber pour. Head is decent but doesnít hold. Expected floral flavors are overwhelmed by pine flavors. Finish is clean with a bit of spice bite. Midwestern is a worthy beer but an average pale ale.
