3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A clear golden body that had no head. Mostly toasted malts in the aroma. Mild grass hops and some floral notes as well. Flavor was mildly sweet, but the malts were nice and toasted. Flavor only had a bit of bitterness, but was mostly floral. A nice beer that was different from others of this style.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
dark straw bordering on golden. Hazy with sediment floating about.
A smallish white head.
Aroma of pale malts maybe toasted malts and some other aromas.
Tart malt taste that is dry with a bitter aftertaste. I can pick out some low diacetyl also.
A good summer quencher if your out there in the garden and need to drink a couple quick.
An okay beer but not much more.

Bottle. Pours murky amber with decent white head. Nose is mostly grain. Taste is some caramel sweetness with some bitter aftertaste. Disappointed with Bell’s on this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. The label on the back has a brief description of the beer and it lists the abv at 5.2%.
Appearance: Midwestern Pale Ale has very thick and creamy off white head which hangs on well. It sits on top of a deep golden/light amber body with some hazing and yeast sediment floating around. As I drink it makes lots of cool lacing on the glass.
Smell: It has a sweet bready and malty character with a light herbal, almost mineral like hop note for balance.
Taste / Palate: Up front it has sweet honey and orange marmalade flavor with a smooth bready base underneath. Light herbal and floral hop notes move in and a good balance of hop bitterness to the finish. It has a solid medium to full body and the palate feels smooth and balanced with carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Bottle] Pours a straw color with a nice half inch of dense white head. Toasted grains and mild grassy hops in the nose. Tasting notes include some bread, grass, grain, light floral and even lighter pine flavors. Average to better than average mouthfeel. Not a ton happening, but a nice beer anyways.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy gold - minimal, soapy lace - nose is crackery and lightly bitter, a little floral, not much else - soft carbonation, but a medium-full mouthfeel - malt character is dry, but bready - hop character is earthy, lightly citric, medium bitter - a clean sweetness adds some notes of orange to the finish - it’s a decent pale.
