PKGD 10/27/12.Pretty fresh. Hazy pour with tiny suspended yeast bits, dullish gold.Frothy short head.
Aroma is floral, a stronger spice, grainy with a citrus tone like a little orange maybe slight lemon. Yeast breadiness.
Taste is a light carmel with sweet bread and a spicey citrus floral hop flavor and sort of piney/grapefruit? but grassybittering. Pretty grassy in overall taste also. Dry bitter finish. LIngering grapefruit bitter.

Bottle, 2 months old. Got it accidentally in a 6 of Oarsman, glad I tried it without springing for 6. Kind of a muted version of Oberon with less wheat and less hop zing. Light to medium body. Not a standout but fine.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ NYC Craft Beer Festival. Pale yellow with small foamy off-white head, no specific aroma, high carbonation, bitter taste, medium finish. Not exactly the best Bellís Iíve tried.

A relatively simple beer done well. Not trying too hard not reaching too high. It's actually better than I remember it

Yellow gold with a one-finger white head and moderate lace. Pale malt aromas accompanied by spice and citrus. Light bitterness up front offset by a pale malt middle with citrus and spice in the end. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and a clean finish.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pour is a very cloudy gold with a lingering white head, which leaves slight lacing. Aroma is piney, with some hoppy hints. Taste is a little hoppy too, with a bitter finish. Not too much going on there, to be honest. Overall itís a decent beer, but lacking a certain complexity Iíve come to expect from Bellís.

Pale golden pour with a thick white head. The nose has a little bit of toasty malt and a bit of light fruit. Some pear and peach with a touch of soft spice. Moderate bitterness and a nice fruity finish. Has a little bit of floral character. Itís quite nice and fairly unique.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is sour, rotten fruit. I donít get it. Tastes similar, not like I feel a pale ale should taste. Very little hop taste. Not much to like here.
