Another beer I was surprised to not have rated yet (I recently filled my beer fridge with beers I haven’t rated). Pours hazy blond with a small white head. Aroma has a touch of citrus hops with a little malt, but not much of one. Flavor is basic with a nice balance of hops and malt. Nice beer that you can drink a lot of, but it has nothing this is going to knock your socks off. Sort of plain for Bells, but still decent.

Pours a cloudy orange with about a finger of slowly dissipating stark white head. Lemon citrus to the aroma mainly. Starts fairly light but builds into a decent hoppy bitterness for the aftertaste. Bells makes better pale ales, but it’s still pretty good.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Syzzer (216) - Oregon, USA - FEB 7, 2012
There is a bit of a fruity flavor. Pretty bitter for a pale ale. There is a soapy floral taste with weak head

Taste is bitter fruit, bread, flowers and hay. Solid pale ale from Bell’s.

12 oz bottle pours a golden amber color with a nice white head. Aromas of light citrus, bready malt. Light bodied, refreshing pale ale
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 callmemickey (710) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2012
A: Golden light-amber body with a moderate white head and decent lacing...
S: Slightly floral and citric hop aroma.. bready malts toward the end
T: Very much the same as the nose with bitterness up front before giving way to the softer malts and the hints of clove and coriander? in the middle
M: Smooth, but with a slightly thin and odd finish
O: An easy drinking session brew.. a little simple in the taste dept. for bells
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dumontn (423) - CHICAGO, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2012
Pours slightly hazy gold with a few particles, strong white head that fades to a skin. Aroma is straightforward-- honey, bread, yeast, and floral hops. Taste is...meh. Pale malt, hard water, and abrasive hops to finish. Body is light to medium, average carbonation, dry bready finish. Overall, this is pretty bland for Bell’s. Time to retire this one.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a lasting white head. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is light and refreshing with just a little hop kick. More of a laid back pale ale. Easy to drink.

Hazy yellow-orange with a medium sized, frothy head. Thick rings of lace. Clean grainy and slightly bready aroma with some dirty floral and citrus notes. Interesting flavor. Bready and fruity character with a lot of hop flowers and some dryness. Very balanced. Tasty pale ale.
