b33r (332), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Jan 30, 2007 Dirty yellow in color with small disappearing head. Faint aroma smells malty. Flavor is very bitter leaving the back of my throat feeling very heavy. Not the best hops, and little else to it.
RedXIII (86), Powell, Ohio, USA Oct 10, 2008 This beer was a bit weird for me because it excelled in areas I did not expect and failed in others. Color was unimpressive golden shade, but it held a massive amount of sediment which I loved.Aroma was bursting with mixed fruits almost like a belgian. It had that same faint belgian taste with a medium bitter hops flavor on the finish. I don’t remember this beer being that great, but for at least this time around this beer is crisp and flavorful. Bell’s doesn’t miss often. KornDogg (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Crisp Golden Hue... Nice white head... faint sweet aroma... a little too bitter for me, would have preferred more of a floral, hoppy flavor... not terrible... but nothin great either Caleb1035 (33), , North Carolina, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is sweet but faint. Pours light golden body with very thick white head. Taste is average with bitter after taste. Not bad Moggman (54), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden/light amber with off white head. Flavor is citrus and finishes less astringent than some pale ales. noncaloric (111), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 1, 2008 Summary: Batch 8621. If this wasn’t a bad bottle, it was a bad beer. Aroma: Almost nonexistent, and what there is is detergent. Appearance: Light amber, hazy, two fingers of off-white head dissipates bud leaves abundant lacing. Visibly chunky white sediment. Flavor: A little malt, a little citrus, more than a little detergent, not spicy or floral in the least. Bitter aftertaste. Palate: Lively carbonation, nice caramel thickness. A redeeming quality.
