COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another ale fermented with Montmorency cherries, Poolside is a light bodied wheat ale that blends clove and tart cherry flavors for a summer session beer.

On tap at a Bells fest. This beer is very solid and a great summer dinker. It had a great wheat backbone with a very nice cherry aspect. Its muddy as hell on the appearance, but very nice on the tongue. That’s just how fruit wheats go, as far as appearance. Another good Bells!!!

Tap. Pinkish pour with a small white head. Aroma is faint cherry. Taste is more bold - cherry and clove. Nice brew.

Fruity, yeasty nose with some cherry, peach and banana. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter taste with cherries, almonds, peach, apple and honey. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this one, but it’s actually a very sold beer... for a style that’s usually just mailed in by brewers. I’d happily drink this again.

(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, cherry, dough, and clove. Flavor of cherry, lemon, and wheat. Okay.

On tap at Maduro. Poured medium peachy-golden with a well-retained cap of whitish head. The aroma picked up dry, tangy cherry and yeasty notes first and foremost with a crisp, airy, summery impression. The flavor found tangy cherries first with pale malts and a touch of light fruit behind.. somewhat deeper cherry meat at the core.. finished dry and yeasty with cherries and spicy wheat. Lighter-bodied with the fruit complementing the wheat decently.. refreshing stuff.

On draft as poolside ale. Looks like a wheat ale and has a nice sweet aroma. However, one tast and the cherry flavor comes out. Tart cherry undertone with a light straw type taste.

Tap at Maduro’s. Pale beer meets cherry juice on this one. Pours to an amber body with a dash of red. Cherry pretty much dominates the flavor. Kind of reminds me of a light version of New Glarus Belgian Red.

On tap at the the eccentric cafe. Real murky red amber with small head. Grainy fake cherry sweet aroma with some wheat. Glavor is drier than expected cherry with grain and that same syrup fruit flavor, slight sour. as well. Medium, lightly carbonated body. Okay.

On tap @ Eccentric Cafe. Pours translucent honey yellow with a white head. Nose is light malt, tart cherries, sweet cherries, and a bit of easygoing wheat. Flavor is about the same with lingering cherry sweetness. Nice beer.
