Pours black with a good tan head. Smell is somooth roasty malt, cream, nuts, and some smokiness as it warms. Taste is creamy, nutty, and smooth roast which starts milder, and takes center stage as it warms as well. A great porter in all. Thanks Greg!

On draft at the Newtown brewfest with the Mad_Indian. Pours dark with a decent size khaki colored head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet dark chocolate, roast, coffee, with a well balanced bitter finish.

Above average porter though not as complex as I would have like. Basically a much lighter tasting Kalamazoo Stout.

Dark brown color - slightly clear with a light tan head. ARoma is sweet, roasty with a hint of coffee. Sweet flavor, roasty, rich and slightly warming. Body is a little silky and a little thin. Finish is warm and a bit bitter. Well balanced and pleasant porter.

Sampled at the Newtown Brewfest 07 with Stegosaurus. Thank god they were their this year. I love this company Dark brown pour with a coffee/chocolately roasty aroma. Good solid bite with a bitter finish. Not their best work but still damn good.

Looks like Coca~Cola when poured, just a creamier head. Strong smell of coffee. Big taste of dark chocolate and coffee. Finish is slight watery but smooth.

Dark brown with a good balance of sweet/roasted flavor and small bit of coffee to complement the chocolate flavors.

Yet another solid brew from Bells. These guys just make good beer. Nothing flashy, but always good. Pours a dark brown with a nice off-white head. Nice roasted aroma with mild coffe notes. Pleasant hop bite on finish without unbalancing the overall flavor. Excellent porter.
