Hudspart (371), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Oct 12, 2007 Bottle: Pours very dark with a small head. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt. Very good. cellardoor (45), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Oct 11, 2007 Now this is quite nice. Aroma and color seem right on. I’m getting a softer rounder roaster aroma with very little harshness. It slides across the tounge and I expected some harshness but I was pleased to get some great, dark, almost toffee-like roastedness. Very excellent display of this style. mcox90 (618), Wilton, USA Oct 6, 2007 12 oz bottle acquired in trade with Acknud. Pours a dark brown with 1/2" tan head. No lacing to speak of. Dry mouthfeel. Flavor is roasted malts with a hint of bitter chocolate, but on the light side. Pretty good porter. 37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA Sep 30, 2007 12 oz bottle. Chocolate with a hint of bitterness at the finish. mistersinalin (367), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Sep 25, 2007 A good porter with a dry finish. There is some complex malt flavor here.
