12-ounce. Thanks, Theisti! Pours deep opaque black with a thick, off-white, moussy head. Oddly soured nose, almost like sour milk. Rauchmalt? Almost smoky sour. Medium body with gentle carb, definitely forward flavors: all the coffee, chocolate, smoke, and roast promised by the brewer’s notes. Pleasing, slightly creamy mid-palate. A bit off overall, but not obviously flawed.

Bottle. Aroma of roasted malts light smokiness. Pours a dark brown almost black very thin head quickly dissapated. Flavor is roast malts, smoke and a taste of cocoa. Palate was nice evenly lively. Overall I liked it want to get more. What can I say Ring the Bells!!!

12oz Bottle pours out a very dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nice dark roast aroma along with a little smoke. Tast of sweet chocolate. A little thin but still ok. A nice brew. thanks S Santa for another fine Bell’s brew.

A decent brew, poured a dark brown, slight head, easy drinking, plenty of roasted malt, along with some chocolate, Some smoke flavor to it, an enjoyable brew!

Decent flavor for a porter but nothing really stands out - which makes it very drinkable yet not pleasantly distinctive. I would drink again.

Very little aroma noted here. Good roasted malt flavor but very little left for the palate (maybe slightly smoky but very slight.) Overall, a good beer that I could enjoy most with a medium done ribeye.
