Light roastiness with good amount of sweetness. That bell’s aroma that I desicribed is coming out in the taste. Medium bodied, and enjoyable all the way through. gottalottaibu (243), charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Bottled; black with a small to medium light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt; some sweet-chocolate, caramel, and alcohol. Good aroma, but too subtle. Palate and mouthfeel were a little on the "light" side for my liking, but not bad or detracting. Flavor of roasted malt, chocolate, black licoriceand caramel; not very bitter, but some hop presence. Good for the style, but not brilliant. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 4, 2007 On draft. Deep dark pour with a decent tan head. Roasted aroma with hints of chocolate and nuts. Not an overpowering flavor, but a mix of roasted malt, chocolate, and possibly caramel? Smooth, easy to drink. Good.
