12oz bottle (thanks to the epeeist) poured a nice dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was roasty with some chocolate, caramel and a toasted nuttiness. Taste had a big creamy texture with more of the roasted flavores coming through. Some coffee flavor was noticable but not a big part of the beer. Overall I think the Bell’s Stouts stand out more that the Porter, but still a decent example of the style.

Miinnetonka, Mn - MGM Liquors, 12 oz bottle. Dark brown pour, light mocha head. Earthy aroma with hints of chocolate - not as much as desired though. Flavor is clean throughout with some earthiness and bittersweet chocolate. Thick enough mouthfeel. Decent porter - expected just a bit more.

Bottle. Reminiscent of the expedition stout, but a little softer. Flavors of black licorice, chocolate, and coffey.

Pours muddy black with a small fizzy brown head. Aroma is nice, dark bread, roasted and nutty malts, strong coffee, and leather. Flavor starts well balanced toasted/roasted malts, nutty and finishes much the same. short clean finish. Medium bodied, creamy and softly carbonated.

Bottle, courtesy of DeuceDeuceOU, very light porter, with precisely the right amount of coffee and chocolate, very much a delicious beer, bells is spot on with this porter, i could drink this beer anytime.. a quality brew. Light mouthfeel in retrospect from other porters.
