Bells Porter

Blackish brown color with a medium tan head. Roasty chocolate and coffee flavors in the nose. Taste is a nice mix of coffee, roast, and maybe a bit of dark chocolate. High quality and easy drinkin’ porter. Another good one from Bells.

Ruby-brown body and a moderate, sudsy light tan head. Chocolate and caramel aromas with a light edge of roast. Chocolate and marshmallow characters in the flavor with some prominent woodsy hops and moderate bitterness. A solid American-styled porter.

Thanks to Whaleman for sharing this beer from my wish list. Pours a dark brown with hints of amber. Smaller creamy off white head. Aroma was nutty, roasty with hints of some smoke and sweet malts. Flavor of light coffee and toasy malts.

Roasted aroma. Very dark brown with an off white head. More coffee taste than choclolate in my opinion. Roasted malt finish with a very smooth feel.

I had this on draft at the Herot and Fickle Peach. This is one of my favorite beers. Perfection is an understatement.Color,palate,taste, it’s all here Kudo’s Larry!

dark brown with off white head, the armoa is very chocolatey, with a hint of vanilla. creamy mouthfeel, quite decent.

A dark brown pour with a small head. Aroma is roasted, malty, and subtle chocolate. Creamy tasting with a sweet chocolate finish.

Pours dark brown with a slight head. Aroma is smoky and malty, with nuts and grains. The flavor is rich, creamy, and surprisingly sweet, with a drier finish. 4 of 5 on the palate, hooray for silky. A delicious porter.
