Pours a deep dark brown with some reddish hues. Not much head. Nice aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Taste got more complex as the beer got warmer. Very nice.

this was not as good as I thought it was going to be. It looked really good but didn’t come through with it’s rpomise. Nice body and tan head - just didn’t have that deep palate and roasted malt flavor I’d expect form a porter.

On draft. Deep dark pour with a decent tan head. Roasted aroma with hints of chocolate and nuts. Not an overpowering flavor, but a mix of roasted malt, chocolate, and possibly caramel? Smooth, easy to drink. Good.

10-29-07 bottle. Black with quick head. Subtle roasted aroma. Nice flavor and palate. A bit more creaminess and weight would be nice - but overall very drinkable and enjoyable!
