A dark ale for all occasions. A blend of dark malt gives this beer flavors of coffee and chocolate with some smokey roasted notes.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2015 Pours near black with hints of ruby when held to the light. Finger and a half of khaki creamy looking head that dissipates quickly.Scent is of chocolate and robust coffee with a hint of fruit. No unpleasant odors. Smells warm and inviting.Taste is moderately sweet with a good deal of roasty bitterness just the way a porter should be.Beer is medium bodied and creamy with a pleasant amount of carbonation and long bittersweet finish that reminds me of extra dark chocolate. This is an outstanding beer and one of the worlds great porters. If you are into the darkside and haven?t had Bell?s Porter then you are missing out. I highly recommend this brew.

Dark brown pour with a slight off white head. Roasted malt nose. Big roasted malt in the taste, some bitterness in the finish (chocolate and char). A bold porter that is quite nice.

Outstanding porter! Deep dark pour w/ a big tan head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is fairly subtle w/ malt & chocolate. The taste is quite complex despite being pretty light in body. The chocolate, coffee, & lightly smoked notes compliment each other beautifully! Its not too heavy for a warm summer day but certainly packs the flavor punch! Bravo man!

Roasted malt, slight sweet smooth Porter. Full flavored, balanced, but with a bit of a bitter dry finish. Nice smooth Porter, but noticeable hop bitterness in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
