Apr 14, 2007 Very malty aroma with the slightest hints of mixed fruits and smokiness . flavor is a very close to what it smells like with a biter bite at the end.

Jul 13, 2007 Black with a tan head. Roasted malt chocolate and coffee in the aroma and flavor. Absolute dry finish that doesn’t linger.

Nov 19, 2007 Very sweet porter here. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Roasted toffee and a touch of coffee and perhaps a dark fruit. very good.

Mar 20, 2009 Sampled in Lexington, Ky. A really good quality porter. Really crisp, no over done charcoely taste or anything. Really good quality and nice and smooth.

Jun 28, 2007 Updated: Jul 22, 2007Bottle. Best beer of the night, 7/28 at the chatterbox jazz club where I was playing. Chocolate flavors end in roast flavor of coffee. Not terribly complex but very enjoyable.

Jul 9, 2007 Very nice porter. Nice dark caramel color with a thick amber head. Subtle malt aroma. Smooth drink with a very nice finish. Not an overpowering aftertaste.
